Ways in Which You Might Be Sabotaging Your Skin Continued…

In the last blog, we talked about some ways in which you might be sabotaging your skin. This discussion is intended to highlight a few more things to refrain from, in order to maintain a healthy and glowing skin.

Not Paying Attention to the Ingredients
Whether it's a conditioner or your face cream, some of the cosmetic products you use may be sabotaging your hair and skin, without you having any idea about it. To prevent this, do read the ingredients of the product. Some cosmetics instantly cause skin irritation or dryness. Steer clear of such products and incorporate organics in your beauty regimen instead.

Not Removing Make-up Before Going To Bed
Wearing makeup to bed can be extremely harsh for your skin. Not washing off the makeup before sleeping can lead to those not-so-good looking skin breakouts and pimples on your face. Makeup residue is never good for the skin as it might lead to wearing off of collagen. This can in fact, accelerate the action of free radicals leading to pre-mature skin aging.
If you are too tired to walk up to the sink area in the bathroom just keep a pack of wet wipes handy with you.

Not Wearing SPF on a Daily Basis
Sun rays cause a great damage to you hair and skin. You can prevent it by wearing SPF. Wearing SPF not only prevents the skin damage but also delays the ageing process. Just take a coin size amount of your favourite SPF cream or lotion and apply it every morning. If you remain outdoors most of the time, then reapply after every three hours. A little effort can work wonders for your skin. Time to have a committed relationship with your SPF!

Having no skincare routine can also result in sabotaging your skin, that too without even you realizing so. Start taking care of your skin right away. Wear SPF, wash of your face at regular intervals and use a moisturizer according to your skin type. Being too lazy and having no regimen is not that good, girl!
