Lesser Known DIY Beauty Recipes



Natural beauty tips have gained massive popularity in the past few years but there are still some lesser known DIY beauty recipes which are quite effective for including in your beauty regimen. 1.      Moisturize your Skin with a Herbal Bath
Fill your bath tub with lukewarm water and add some flowers and dried leaves to it. Preferably add petals of white roses and dried helichrysums. The medicinal substances present in the petals of dried leaves will enter the pores of your skin and moisturize it from deep within. You should definitely take herbal bath during winter season in order to keep your skin moisturized.

2.      Pamper yourself with Rose Body Scrub
If you wish to have a clear, blemish-free and soft skin, we suggest you to use rose body scrub on daily basis. Add some coconut and sunflower oil to your scrub to get better results. You can also try a blend of rose water, finely ground sea salt and dried petal of rose to use as a face mask. 

3.      Use Lavender Face Mask for a Blemish-free Skin
Mix some lavender leaves with flax, oats and cornmeal. Apply this mask on your skin and rinse with lukewarm water. You will be amazed to see profound results within a few days. 

4.      Use Linen Freshener for your Clothes
Heavily perfumed detergents can create skin rashes and allergies. We suggest you to use fragrance-free detergents for your clothes that are less harsh on your skin as well as clothes. You can add some dried yellow roses and dried carnation and few drops of Ylang Ylang Essential Oil while washing your clothes. It will give a mild and sweet fragrance to your clothes.  

5.      Calendula Toner for Skin Healing and Nourishment
Calendula Oil is widely known for its skin healing properties and it is often used as microbe repellant as well. It is highly beneficial to use dried Calendula leaves as a face mask as it helps in removing blackheads and acne. Use a blend of aloe, lemon, lavender and calendula essential oil and gently apply it as a toner. It is highly effective and give instant results.
